Beautiful architectural frontispiece with the printer's mark in the center, medallions with effigies at the four corners, foxing in the text, SPLENDID COEVAL FULL PARCHMENT BINDING framed by two thin fillets, joined at the internal corners by 4 gilt plaques, at the center of the covers royal coats of arms on a blue background, a red band and 3 gilt fleurs-de-lis, symbol of the French monarchs. E. Rahir bookplate on the inside cover (Rahir 1011).
