Milan, Ulrico Hoepli, 1942. In 2°. Loose issues with 30 lithographs, 16 of which are full-page, printed in black, red, and sepia, with rare and very light foxing, within an illustrated folder, cardboard slipcase, small corner defects. Paper bookplate in the first issue.
Specialist Notes
Copy no. 42 of a limited edition of 150 copies printed on handmade Fabriano paper. The text and lithographs within the text were printed in Veroni on the presses of Giovanni Mardersteig's Officina Bodoni. The full- and double-page lithographs were hand-printed by Piero Fornasetti in Milan.
