Specialist Notes
Considered one of the most important and valuable works on the Palio di Siena, it is the result of the collaboration between Misciattelli and Duilio Cambellotti. The latter created the splendid color woodcuts that enrich the volume, illustrating emblematic scenes of the Palio, the individual contrade with their respective banners, and the main moments of the famous event. Copy no. 340 of a print run of 1,000.
