Specialist Notes

"L'Adone" constitutes the sumptuous and orgiastic outburst of a free, varied and intemperate imagination, completely curious and, ultimately, indifferent to everything: even to voluptuousness, in which no one seemed to recognize the central nucleus of the Opera "( L.Vigliani). "The modern edition of London (Livorno), edited by Gaetano Poggiali is also good". & Nbsp; Gamba, 2002.
