Specialist Notes
Refined architect, Giuseppe Valadier (Rome 1762 - 1839) was the son of Luigi, master goldsmith and silversmith. At the age of thirteen, he won the architectural competition held by the Accademia di San Luca, where he would later teach, and established himself as a chamber and curia architect. An intense and prolific designer and builder, he left prestigious works of practical architecture, significant evidence of a modern urban culture. He was among the first to consider urban planning as a science. & Nbsp;
