Volume 2 of 4, frontispiece with woodcut frieze, half-title, numerous wooden illustrations in the text including some full page, initials, headboards and woodcut ends, fresh copy partially in beards, small marginal gaps in particular in the lower external corners of some papers , very slight initial blooms, woodworm hole in the eye, binding in full modern rigid parchment. The lot contains the unpublished booklet Two letters from Galileo Galilei and one from Kepler with notes by Pietro Bigazzi, Florence, published by the Publisher, 1841 in original paperback.
