Large decorated headboard, numerous illustrations in the text, 4 numbered plates engraved and folded, most of the files burnished but not the plates, original binding in brown calfskin, back with 5 nerves, to the compartments, gusset with title and floral decorations embossed in gold, cuts spray red, peeling and small deficiencies. Ex libris glued to the counterplate.

First French edition of de La Hire's Tabulae astronomicae & nbsp; first printed in 1702. The author (1640 - 1718), & nbsp; & nbsp; was a French mathematician, astronomer and architect.
