Frontispiece framed by frame and with wood-engraved vignette of a winged woman on a globe playing the trumpet and motto "I fly to heaven to rest in God", portrait of Petrarch and Laura on the back of * 4, vignette engraved in wood at the beginning of each Triumph, ornate initials and woodcut friezes, slight marginal halos, scattered blooms, some slightly burnished papers, woodworm hole in the lower outer corner, coeval parchment binding with manuscript author and title on the spine, slight defects. Stamp and signatures of belonging to the title page
