Venice, heirs of Aldo, 1586. In the 8th. Still aldine on the frontispiece, decorated headbands and initials engraved in wood, woodworm hole on the first and last cards with slight loss of text, light waterpipe, parchment binding, calligraphic title on the spine, slight stains. Handwritten ownership note “F. Thaddei sbrozzij ”on the title page.
Specialist Notes
Second Aldine edition, after the one printed in 1582, in the translation by Camillo Camilli. The work can be considered one of the first attempts to demonstrate the links between psychology and physiology. Adams H, 1117.
