Genoa, Edizioni Marsano SA, 1931/1932 (on the title page, year IX, 1931 - on the cover, year X, 1932). 4°. With 40 reproduced photographic plates, red editorial cardboard binding with the title printed in black on the front cover, the initials EP on the back cover, minor signs of aging.
Specialist Notes
Rare example printed in 500 copies at the expense of the editor Ezra Pound, whose name appears with the initials EP on the back cover and in the text Ad Lectorem EP. In 1929, Aquila Press commissioned Ezra Pound to produce a commented version of Cavalcanti's work, however, while it was in print, the publisher had to close due to bankruptcy and so Pound stepped in to produce the present version at his own expense.
