Venice, Gabriele Giolito de Ferrari, 1547. In 4th. Beautiful allegorical frontispiece engraved in wood, 1 full-page illustration representing the region of Avignon, vignette with portrait of Petrarch and Laura c. *2v and 6 wooden illustrations preceding each of the Triumphs, historiated initials, Giolito's typographical mark at the end, italic text enclosed by the commentary in Roman type, light damp marks, scattered light foxing, some small defects on the external margins without loss of text, woodworm work on the internal margin of a few leaves, small restoration on s7 and 2d8, binding in vintage parchment, author and title within a gusset on the spine, slight defects, gusset with small defects.
