Accademia delle Scienze, 1887. 8th, 3 volumes bound into one, pp. 1414 (continuous numbering) with 288 wood engravings interspersed in the text depicting plants, animals, drugs and the chemical devices most used in pharmacies and 2 large chromolithograph plates, folded several times, depicting 52 different types of mushrooms. Contemporary binding in full parchment, double gusset, title and gold friezes on the spine.
