Venice, at the sign of Hope, 1550. In 8th. Printer's mark on the title page, woodcut initials, internal margin of the title page slightly glued to the guard paper, slight defect on the internal spine, contemporary parchment binding, handwritten title on the spine, minor defects.

Domenico Cavalca (1270 -1342) was one of the main promoters of the translation of religious texts into the vernacular, he founded the convent of Santa Marta in Pisa shortly before his death.
