Milan, Borroni and Scotti, 1844. 8th, portraits of Giorgio Washington and Beniamini Franklin engraved on copper in front, double frontispiece , to each volume, the first engraved on copper, vols. 2 tied in one, pp. 468; 514 with two large geographical maps of the United States engraved on copper and more folded f.t.: "Northern Provinces" and "Southern Provinces". Contemporary binding mz. parchment, gusset, title and gold decorations on the spine.
