How bidding works

Information

Contemporary handwritten copy of the anonymous report dated December 17, 1746, 6 pp., 310 x 210 mm. The famous episode concerns Giovanni Battista Perasso ( Balilla ), born in Portolungo on October 8, 1729 and died on September 30, 1781. On December 5, 1746, by throwing a stone at a German soldier, he gave the signal for the popular uprising that led to the Germans abandoning the city of Genoa on the following day, the 10th. This document recounts everything.
