Fascist Era XIII and XIV, beginning and end of the Ethiopian campaign – III OCTOBER MCMXXXV and IX MAY MCMXXXVI –
The plaque depicts Rome as a warrior, with soldiers in colonial uniform, highlighting Emilio De Bono, Pietro Badoglio and Rodolfo Graziani (commander of the southern front of the operations), and in the centre the Duce Benito Mussolini who extends his hand towards King Vittorio Emanuele III, rendered unrecognisable in his physiognomy and placed in the background compared to the Duce, the true conqueror and founder of the Empire.
Marked on the bottom left SACCHINI of Milan. Perfect condition, measures approximately 80x120 mm, contained in its original leatherette case with a blue velvet-covered stand, for free-standing display
