LUIGI EINAUDI was one of the fathers of the Italian Republic: a convinced liberal, founder of "La Riforma Sociale" and collaborator of "Il Corriere della Sera", he was Governor of the Bank of Italy (1945-1948), Minister of the Budget
in the De Gasperi government, and finally President of the Republic from 1948 to 1955.
