Gianluca Vialli's autographed card, wearing a Juventus jersey, published by Panini for the 2021/22 Chronicles National Treasures Soccer Serie A series. Numbered out of 10. Arriving in Turin in 1992 as the world's most expensive signing, Vialli formed a legendary attacking trident with Del Piero and Ravanelli, combining power, class, and a spirit of sacrifice. His rise culminated on the magical night in Rome on May 22, 1996, when, wearing the captain's armband and with a warrior's shaved head, he lifted the Champions League trophy to the skies after a penalty shootout victory over Ajax. That trophy represented the perfect culmination of a four-year period in which Vialli not only scored spectacular goals, such as his famous bicycle kicks, but also became the driving force behind a victorious and ferocious Juventus. His farewell, which came just a few days after that triumph, left Juventus fans with the indelible memory of a man who had put his immense talent at the service of the team, completing his list of honours with every trophy possible.
