A copy of “Deadpool #6” in the Virgin Cover variant, graded by CGC (9.8) and signed by Alex Ross. It is part of a special series called “Timeless,” created to celebrate Marvel’s greatest heroes and villains in a photorealistic style. The painting features Harvey Elder, better known as the Mole Man. He is a historic figure for Marvel for several reasons: He is officially the first ever adversary faced by the Fantastic Four in their first issue in 1961 (Fantastic Four #1), marking the beginning of the modern era of Marvel Comics. Alex Ross is famous for his gouache paintings that give superheroes an almost mythological and real look. In this “Timeless” series, he wanted to portray the characters isolated against a white background to highlight every anatomical and material detail.
