37x59x16 cm
Plinth base with neoclassical bas-relief frieze and animal-shaped front feet. Apollo seated on a rock containing the gold dial with Roman numerals, Breguet-style hands and a band with zodiac signs. Mechanism signed ‘Pons’, attributable to Pierre-César Honoré Pons, weekly winding, equipped with a locking system and automatic reactivation of the chime at night.
The rear bezel protecting the movement is missing.
