Louis Moreau (1740-1791) earned his master in 1764 and was both a cabinetmaker and furniture merchant. He practiced on the rue de l'Échelle-Saint-Honoré “À la descente des Thuileries.” His patrons, members of the aristocracy and the court of Louis XVI, included the Menus-Plaisirs
