NEWARKN.J. / PATENTED MARCH 8 1864" at the back, marks of the London test bench on the side. The barrel's serial number matching with frame, wedge with abbreviated matching numbers. Five-shot cylinder with remains of medallion engraving, mark of the London bench and f the patent. Working mechanism. Serial number "59xxx". Brass bands numbered en suite. Walnut handle. With remains of antique finishing. IV series.
