In 1948, Tazio Nuvolari surprised everyone by participating in the Mille Miglia at the age of 56 seemly convinced at the last minute by Enzo Ferrari. We see him here at the punching of the cars, elegant in a suit and tie. That of 1948 was the last Mille Miglia he ever run (negative property of the Archivio Corrado Millanta - Milan n. 25299)
