The finest bottles from the world’s greatest wine regions.
We are proud to present an extraordinary selection of bottles: 400 lots of Italian and international wines, where enthusiasts will find examples of absolute excellence from each of the most celebrated appellations.

We begin with Italian wines: Piedmont is represented by Conterno Monfortino from various vintages, an extraordinary vertical tasting of Barolo Borgogno from 1924 to 2001, and an exceptional Magnum of Cappellano Pie Franco Michet 2000; for Tuscany, two prestigious wooden cases of 12 bottles of Sassicaia with elegant leather closures, two double magnums of Montevertine 1997, a vertical tasting of Ornellaia spanning five vintages from 2001 to 2006, a 5-litre bottle of Tignanello 1981, various vintages of Masseto from 1999 to 2016; and for Brunello, three great names above all others: Soldera, Casanova di Neri and Biondi Santi. Extraordinary bottles from Franciacorta, including an exceptional limited-edition Ca’ del Bosco Annamaria Clementi that has spent over forty years on the lees.

As for France, Bordeaux is represented by Petrus, Margaux, Mouton, Lafite and Latour, in vintages of historic significance such as 1948 and 1949, and legendary ones such as 2000. From Burgundy, Jayer, DRC, Leroy and Musigny make up a selection of great impact. Rare and precious champagnes: Dom Pérignon P3 and P2 Rosé, Selosse, Krug, Cristal, Egly Ouriet, and Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque.

To round things off in style: Vega Sicilia Unico, Spain’s most prestigious wine; Opus One from the New World; and the Malbec reserves from the Argentine producer Hijo Prodigo.

The oldest Cantina in Barolo presented in a collection from 1931 to 2014.

This is the extreme synthesis to present the Finarte auction on June 9th, where an extraordinary selection of Barolo Borgogno of over 1,900 bottles will be auctioned, covering the time period 1931-2014 with great completeness: 1931, 1937, 1947, 1952, 1955, 1957, 1958, 1959 and then all the vintages produced without neglecting even one until 2014, with very rare bottles of Barolo Storico Crus and the most recent Crus, which the Farinetti management decided to enhance after the company’s acquisition in 2008.

The bottles, preserved with extreme care, have been viewed one by one by the Borgogno company which guarantees their authenticity and essential conservation requirements.

The collection is offered in lots divided into several large complementary verticals that offer the entire history of 1931-2014, in smaller verticals focused on specific periods and selections of targeted vintages and particular Crus.

The Monographic auction of the Barolo Borgogno 1931-2014 Collection will be preceded by two tasting events dedicated to collectors in Milan and Rome.
