Straight blade of lenticular section, featuring fuller and the inscription "SOLINGEN" at the base (another inscription is not clearly visible on the opposite side). Beautiful iron hilt, fretworked butt-plate decorated with busts and faces. This iconography is repeated, without pierced elements, on the centre of the crossguard and on the pommel, which is shaped as a flattened sphere. Angled parry quillon with drop-shaped pommel. One of the two arms of the hilt is broken; guard thickened at the top. Grip covered with iron and copper wire binding and Moor's heads.
