length 35 cm.
Round, rifled, 17.5 mm cal. barrel (bore with pitting, still visible rifling), with octagonal breech marked "C DE 17 - 6A", "E" and "MB", “X” and "9 51", once the lock is removed, numerous marks and the date "S: 1861" can be seen on the right side of the barrel at the base; provided with foresight. The tang with rear sight and marked "M.le 1822 T Bis". The lock is marked "M.re R.le de Mutzig" and with the marks “L” inside a rhombus and "D" in italics with a star. Working mechanism. Wooden three-quarter stock with signs of use, on the left side date "1843", marks and St. Etienne marking. Brass mounts with marks. Missing ramrod. Suspension ring. It is unusual that the barrel, stock and ramrod have matching numbering.
