Typical Wänzel breech, working well, marked "BENTZ". Tang marked "LOUISE BENTZ". Forward spring lock, with eagle, working mechanism. Probable later substitution of the hammer screw. Wooden full stock with stamps. Iron mounts and ramrod. Butt-plate marked "IX LVD / 7004" Small defects and signs of time and use.
