length 110 cm.
Rifled, octagonal barrel (clean bore, visible rifling, signs of use inside), with circular nozzle provided with foresight and clutch for the bayonet, provided with adjustable rear sight and various stamps including "LW" and the imperial eagle. 14 mm cal. at the nozzle. Typical Wänzel breech, working well, marked "BENTZ". Tang marked "LOUISE BENTZ". Forward spring lock, with eagle, working mechanism. Probable later substitution of the hammer screw. Wooden full stock with stamps. Iron mounts and ramrod. Butt-plate marked "IX LVD / 7004" Small defects and signs of time and use.
