Rifled barrel (clean bore, visible rifling) with standard company mark on the back and "No 2". White metal foresight. Preserves 60% of the antique bluing, on underside marks of the London test bench mark and serial number "70xx" matching the grip. Iron frame with traces of silvering inside (the finishing completely missing on the outer surface). Racemi engravings. Calibre inscription "41 Cal." (41 rimfire). Working mechanism. Cock and trigger with remains of finishing. Walnut grip scales with checkering, and remains of ink mark inside with numbers matching the gun. Kept in a wooden case with burl veneer back and lined inside with blue velvet (antique?). Inside the lid, blue cloth and old Cogswell & Harrison label.
