Straight blade of triangular section with hollow sides (areas with rust damage), the first part blued and gilded featuring trophy carvings and floral motifs, signed “IS & G” on the base. Fine gilt bronze hilt (90 %), fretwork shell-guard and with spider webs, parry quillon, head shaped as a lion's head, guard with carvings depicting four-leaf clover and floral motifs. Globe-shaped pommel carved with palmettes. Grip with mother-of-pearl grip scales, the one on the obverse featuring an effigy of Egyptian Revival style, engraved and carved ring nuts and side bands. Leather scabbard (restoration in the middle) provided with gilt brass mounts, cap with engraved bands and carved hook, the chape en suite.
