length 98 cm.
Interesting curved, damask, single-edged blade, with short jelman; forte with golden cartouche with spiral engravings and inscriptions “COUPANT LE FER / VERO DAMSCO TURCO”, border with manufacturer's signature “C. Putsch Sohn a Solingen”, weak with double fuller; tang. Typical steel hilt, marked “S. TINELLI / TORINO.” Checkered ivory grip (small missing part). Long, faceted cap, some areas with rust damage. Button with the heraldic coat of arms of the Colli di Filizzano family. Iron scabbard with two lugs, signs of superficial rust; the chape marked en suite with the guard. Kept in its original case made of wood covered with leather, the lid with the dedication “RICORDO DEGLI UFFICIALI DELLA SCUOLA NORMALE DI CAVALLERIA”; the interior is lined in satin and blue silk, with the monogram stamped in gold surmounted by a count's crown “C. di T. P.” (Colli di Felizzano Giuseppe).
