Single-edged blade of fine Wootz damask, featuring remains of gold-inlaid racemes at the base. Decorated on the back with longitudinal ribs and carved with floral motifs at the base. Some signs of time and pitting on the edge. The knot inlaid en suite. The entire centre band of the grip with gold koftgari inlays featuring similar designs as on the blade. Large walrus grip scales probably replaced in time of use. Definitely earlier scabbard, made of wood with missing parts, obvious signs of use and time, with remains of the green dyed leather covering sewn in brass thread and with spheroid bone tip.
