An important pair of bazu-band
length 52 cm.
Made of iron, worked in two pieces joined by two hinges; both elements are decorated with geometric motifs in bas relief in the central part (small missing parts), the borders decorated with very fine gold geometric and floral motifs (remains of gilding are also visible in the central areas), the border is outlined by a thin leather band with a series of brass rivets. The four hinges, arranged in pairs, are fixed with rivets; they are in relief, carved as a flower and gilded. In both bazu-bands the inner lining and the hand guard are still present, the latter made of fabric and embellished with a scaled pattern formed by small brass discs. The lining, which has several torn parts and signs of use, is made of cotton, covered with purple silk and decorated with polychrome floral motifs.
