An exceptional stutzen Werndl-system carbine by Steyr
length 101,5 cm.
Canna tonda rigata, marcata in oro "OESTERREICHISCHE / WAFFENFABRIKS-GESELLSCHAFT / STEYR" sotto a decori floreali. Alzo regolabile in due altezze, mirino in argento, cal. 11 mm. Otturatore (sistema Werndl mod. 1867), castello, codetta e batteria con finissime incisioni a fiorami arricchite da incrostazioni in oro a motivi floreali. Cassa intera (con piccoli graffi e segni del tempo) in legno di radica, scolpita, prevalentemente intorno al collo, a racemi. Ponticello in ferro decorato en suite, dotato di codolo in corno marrone scuro scolpito e traforato. Meccanica con stecher funzionante. Calciolo e bocchino entrambi in ferro, incisi a fiorami. Bacchetta in ottone.
