Iron head with convex-edged axe and side surfaces carved with floral motifs in bas relief; borders, upper and lower back decorated with beautiful gold geometric and floral motifs; hammer worked en suite in both the iron carving and the gold decorations. Cylindrical wooden shaft completely covered in three pieces with tombac sheets engraved and gilded with geometric and floral motifs; the base ending in a flattened hemisphere.
