Medal for fifteen years of military service, of bronze. On the obverse, in Gothic characters, "CARLO III DUKE OF PARMA PIACENZA ECC", in the centre between flags and arms the Bourbon shield surmounted by a royal crown, with three lilies placed in a pyramid shape, below "1849". On the outer border, in Gothic characters, "SI DEUS PRO NOBIS QVIS CONTRA NOS". On the reverse "AI FEDELI VETERANI" and between oak and laurel branches tied below by ribbon, "XV". At the top, fixed elliptical suspension ring. Complete with ribbon 13 g.
