Naval officer's sword. Straight, nickel-plated, single-and-false-edged blade, with central fuller, the first part richly engraved with anchor, sailing ship, English coat of arms, trophies and floral motifs, tang with maker's mark "HÖRSTER". Gilded brass hilt with anchor under a crown on knuckle guard, lion's head pommel and grip covered with stingray skin and metal wire binding. Sword knot. Leather scabbard with gilded, engraved brass mounts.
