dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Mindanao, Large, single-edged blade rising towards the tip, richly engraved and brass-inlaid on one side. Horn grip majestically sculpted with a parrot's head, floral and geometrical motifs in bas-relief, parrot's head with silver eyes and collar. Leather scabbard with silver cap embossed with floral motifs (behind two brass loops) and smooth, silver chape. length 42 cm.
