dating: 19th Century provenance: Mindanao, Straight blade, made of pamor, enlarged toward the weak, partially hollowed tip with small spikes, cracks. Wooden hilt carved with floral and geometric motifs, decorated with remains of red horsehair. Hilt covered with braided vegetable fibre. Moro people (Tausug or Yakan). length 98.5 cm.
