Information

Replica of the eerie black slippers worn by the Grady twins in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, signed by both actresses who played them, Lisa and Louise Burns. Beckett certified. The Grady twins in The Shining wear black Mary Jane slippers with a strap across the top of the foot. This seemingly innocent and childlike detail contributes disturbingly to the atmosphere of the film, creating a stark contrast between their nature as terrifying ghosts and their appearance as innocent little girls. As for the film, "The Shining" (1980) is a psychological horror film directed by Stanley Kubrick, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. The plot follows Jack Torrance, a struggling writer who takes a job as winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel, bringing his wife, Wendy, and son, Danny, with him. As the isolation deepens and the hotel's evil forces grow, Jack's sanity deteriorates, putting the lives of his family in danger. The film is famous for its meticulous direction, intense performances (particularly that of Jack Nicholson) and iconic scenes that made it a masterpiece of the genre.
