Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli, better known simply as Fonzie, was the beating heart of the American sitcom Happy Days. Played by Henry Winkler from 1974 to 1984, Fonzie embodied youthful rebellion and the American dream. Fonzie left an indelible mark on pop culture. His leather jacket, his thumbs-up, and his catchphrase "Hey!" have become veritable trademarks. The character has inspired fashions, attitudes, and even a dance, the "Fonzie."
