Variant of #1 of 300, Frank Miller's landmark work, signed by the author. Published in 2023 by Dark Horse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Torpedo Comics, one of the most popular American comic book publishers. "300" is a five-issue comic book miniseries written and illustrated by Frank Miller, with colors by Lynn Varley, originally published in 1998 by Dark Horse Comics. The work is a fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae, one of the most iconic events in Greek history, in which 300 Spartans, led by King Leonidas, opposed the immense Persian army of Xerxes I. In 2007, director Zack Snyder helmed a highly successful film adaptation, which helped further spread the comic's popularity.
