This model is part of a series of watches introduced by Omega in the 70s, inspired by the groundbreaking "About Time" creations of Andrew Grima. This new eclectic line was called "Time in Style", and timepieces were marketed through the De Ville, Constellation and Jeux d’Argent collections.
