Notes: The Breguet Type 20 was commissioned by the French Ministry of Defense for its Navy and Air Force beginning in the mid 50s. The "Type 20" designation was not a specific model name, but rather a code to define the watches specifications presented to several brands, including of course Breguet.The very first series did not display the brand or the model name on the dial, making these timepieces a true military tool. Only the caseback was engraved with the Breguet Type 20 designation, together with the "Fin de Garantie" engravings; these engravings were made by the watchmakers to inform the pilots when they should have the watch serviced next.
