Catania, Orizzonti Bibliofilia Italiana, 1998. 2nd vol. 550 x 450 mm. Printed in 240 copies, this is one of 33 marked pda (artist's proof) on the colophon. Facsimile reproduction of the letters sent by Giovanni Verga to his brother Pietro, with the corresponding transcription by Gino Raya. Three splendid etchings by Piero Guccione . On the cover, an embossed bronze plate reproducing one of Guccione's drawings.
