Venice, at Antonio Zatta, 1757-1758. In 4°. 5 volumes. 115 engraved plates, including 2 illustrated frontispieces, portrait of Elisabetta Petrowna, copper-engraved dedicatory plate, portrait of Dante, 2 plates with coins and the poet's monument, plan of Hell, folded family tree, full-page headpieces and plates at the beginning of each canto, copper-engraved endpapers and typographical decorations, a perfect example, BEAUTIFUL COEVAL BINDING in green leather with gilt frames on the covers, spine with 5 raised bands framing six compartments, gilt title on a brown label, red edges.

A sumptuous edition of Dante's writings, containing, in addition to the Divine Comedy, the published and unpublished prose and lyrical rhymes, embellished with beautiful plates engraved by Giampiccoli, Magnini, Rizzi, and Crivelli based on drawings by Francesco Fontebasso, Gaetano Zompini, Schiavoni, and Marcazzi.
