First edition, 1919, Vallecchi publishing house. Editorial paperback. First loose issues, but complete copy in excellent condition. In this anthology the author metabolizes the personal experience of the First World War, where the title is very emblematic: 'allegria' is the joy for poetry; 'naufragi' are all the terrifying aspects that a war can generate. First organic collection of the author, after the very rare collections «Porto Sepolto» (Paris 1916) and «La Guerre» (Paris 1919). It collects with variants most of the poems published to date (in the aforementioned plaquettes, and in some militant magazines such as «Lacerba», «La Brigata» etc.), plus some unpublished ones. Copy embellished by the ownership signature of the eminent literary critic Giuseppe Susini.
