Specialist Notes
Original edition. With this work, Bianchini intended to complete his famous treatise on the economy of the kingdom, analyzing the social, administrative and economic conditions of Sicily in their historical evolution, from the Norman period to Charles' rise to power (first volume) and from 1734 to 1841 (second volume). Fundamental work in the economic history of the Kingdom both for the rigor of the investigation and for the seriousness of the systematic approach of the research.
