Intaglio frieze on the title page, on the first 10 pages. a letter from Francesco Grimaldi to Nicolò Leoni, a Venetian gentleman, divided into 10 Cantos with a final farewell from the author to his Donkey, SPLENDID NINETEENTH-CENTURY AMATEUR BINDING IN LONG-GRAIN GREEN MOROCCAN, with refined frames decorated in gold on the plates, 5 raised spine with decorated compartments and title in gold, dentils, on the pastedown ex libris Caroli Nodier, on the last leaf the indication that the copy comes from the Nodier Catalogue, n.659 .

Heroic poem that draws inspiration from a legend that tells of a quarrel between Padua and Vicenza over the loss of the Donkey banner in battle, which was then returned to the Vicentines in exchange for sausages.
