Rome-Venice, Emilian typography for Ongania, 1896. 305 x 220 mm. Copy in beards with publisher's binding preserved inside a valuable "dogal commission" style binding with recessed compartments, bearing the Savoy arms in the centre.
Specialist Notes
First edition. It is probably the presentation copy made by Ongania for the Savoy house, which financed the publishing enterprise. Numerous facsimile reproductions of cartographic and documentary material.
