Two oils on canvas, the first 225 x 285 mm. depicting a dancer performing a "farewell step", dated 1981, the second measuring 285 x 390 mm. entitled "The long journey" dated 1982.
Specialist Notes
Giancarlo Bornigia was the founder in 1965 of the Piper Club of the Capital (together with Alberigo Crocetta) and king of night clubs; little known his passion for painting, these two rare paintings of almost Fellini's inspiration adorned the walls of the Piper, in fact.
